Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Google Analytics is used to collect analytic data for this website. Among other things, Google Ananlytics tells me things like what websites people came from, how long they were on my site, what pages they visited, etc. No specific data that would easily identify an individual is collected. The information collected is used only to help me understand who is visiting my site, what pages are most appealing, what pages could use more work, and things like that. I never sell or share any of the data. All of my activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
We keep all contact form entries for a minimum of 1 month, analytics records for a minimum of 6 months and customer purchase records for a minimum of 10 years. However, most of the data listed is retained indefinitely for customer service and tax purposes.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
